The opening film of the Imagery Chinese Film Week was one of the biggest Chinese film hits of recent years, I Live, I Die, I Grow Rich. The screening was preceded by a welcome speech by Csaba Káel, Government Commissioner for Film.

The official opening ceremony will take place on the second day of the film week, with welcoming speeches by Gong Tao, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Ákos Pál, CEO of the National Film Institute and Viktória Váradi, one of the main organisers of the film week.
