From a world that is slowly disappearing, where even the buses no longer run, a little boy left to fend for himself sets off for the city. On his journey, he meets a boy his own age, and within a single day a close bond forms between them. What kind of future awaits the two boys in a world where, alongside a dying natural environment, family ties and opportunities are gradually fading away? A world where the life-giving water and sea now exist only in artificial environments – or in the two boys’ imaginations and stories.
