On 7 April 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Budapest between the main organiser of the Imaging China Film Week and Changchun Film Group Corporation, represented by the company's President Zhuang Yan.
The company also owns the Changchun Film Studio, which is 80 years old this year and is considered the cradle of Chinese cinema. The studio has produced such classics as Girl with white hair, and is involved in a number of modern blockbusters, including the 2024 Good things from Shanghai, The successor or the Wandering Earth 2.
One of the studio's chief operating officers will also participate in the Film Week conference.
